Belonging responds to my investigation of home through surfaces and physical structures. Research for this work led me to consider notions of uprootedness, not from a lack in roots, but of having several at once. To that end, home and place are described in these works with aesthetic formal gestures that are concerned with movement, transience, and the portable sculpture.
